Dan Lachenbruch is a single
father and 20 Year Veteran Firefighter for the La Mesa Fire Department.
He was on duty fighting the San Diego Harris Fire when his own
Rancho Bernardo home was consumed by the Witch fire. He was only
able to return to his burned home on Saturday October 27, as he
was on duty fighting fires all week. When Dan is not fighting
fires, he and his boys are on the soccer field or camping and
hiking. Conner is a 9th grader, Cooper is 6 and Gavin is 4.

anything you purchase and consult your tax professional for deductibility.
Items will go directly to the Post Office for the families until
their homes are rebuilt. Please do not send donated items unless
otherwise specified, as these families are displaced and do not
