The Cader Family evacuated their Rancho
Bernardo home just 20 minutes before it was completely destroyed
in flames. Mary Cader is a Real Estate Agent with Simply
The Best Real Estate Co., her husband Buddy Cader is a Manager
at Best Buy, and their kids are in 9th and 4th grade. Caitlyn
is a Cheerleader and Dylan plays football. Mary
and Dylan were on the local news as they were sifting through
the ashes of their home. Mary ran her business from home, so her
entire home office is now destroyed.

A Personal Note from Mary Cader:
Hi Everyone,
Thank you so much for all your thoughts, prayers, love, tears,
calls and emails of support. We are sooo grateful for all of our
family, friends and even strangers rallying around us. We cannot
thank God enough for the people He has placed in our lives. First
of all, yes, our house is completely gone. We were able to gather
a few things like photos and some clothes. That was it. We are
grateful for that because many others were not able to get anything
out. After talking with people and other neighbors we were extremely
blessed with getting out of our house within 20 minutes before
it went up in flames. Our spirits are good and we know we will
be fine with all the support around us. So thank you all!
We have been asked by everyone how they can help. We need help
with trying to get rebuilding support. I was able to talk with
a wonderful group of Cedar fire survivors and get valuable information.
Many of the homeowners there who lost their home were under-insured
(because of the housing prices and where we live). They were able
to organize a group rebuild in their neighborhood which saved
them about $50-$75 per square foot. This may be the only way many
of us will be able to afford to rebuild. So we need contacts of
good contractors or with the large builders, i.e. Shea homes,
McMillan, KB, etc. If anyone wants to take on contacting the large
builders to get contacts that would be so helpful to us. Please
feel free to give them my number as well. Please forward this
email to anyone that could help
Also, if you know anyone in my neighborhood who also lost their
home please have them call me. Please feel free to forward this
to everyone who knows us or who can help. Our community is Westwood
in Rancho Bernardo
Thank you again for all your love and support. We are grateful
for all of you!
Much Love,
The Cader Family - Buddy, Mary, Dylan and Caitlyn
